A classic Old Fashioned with a little Costco Whiskey

This cocktail is one for an at home date night. I find the mix of cherry and orange to be an easy whiskey drink. Something to sip on and chill with. Also great for a little apertif before dinner. A moment to chill and a moment to connect.

Whiskey Cocktail

Ingredients

2 oz Whiskey

1/2 oz Cointreau

1 oz Orange Juice

4 dashes of Angostura bitters

1 brown sugar cube

Garnish: Orange Peel

Recipe: In a cocktail mixing glass, pour whiskey, cointreau, and orange juice. In an old fashioned glass, muddle an orange slice and brown sugar cube. Dash in some angostura bitters. In the mixing glass, stir quickly. Strain into an old fashioned glass with ice. Garnish with an orange peel.
