A little Pre-holiday Berry Sour: Bourbon Whiskey Cocktail

There's a time for a pretty pink cocktail. I love a good fruit sour. It makes whiskey more palpable and also it adds a nice flavor. This raspberry one is my favorite because I love raspberries.


Raspberry Sour Stuff

Bourbon Cocktail




Ingredients

2 oz Bourbon Whiskey

1 oz Cointreau

1 oz Lemon Juice

1/2 oz Simple Syrup

6 Raspberries

Garnish: Three Raspberries


She's meant for sipping! I love a strong but sweet cocktail. Something that you can enjoy and chill.


Recipe: In a cocktail shaker, muddle raspberries and simple syrup. Add ice then pour bourbon, cointreau, and lemon juice. Close and shake until cold (about fifteen seconds). Double strain into an old fashioned glass with ice. Garnish with raspberries.
