Now, I am not a St Patrick's Day fan. I don't love the support of a crazy holiday surrounded by the need to wear a color and get belligerent. I prefer my holidays a littl more spooky but as my skin and genetics would tell you I'm irish. So I made irish whiskey pretty. This version of a sour makes a beautiful yellow cocktail.

For the Irish
Irish Whiskey Cocktail

Ingredients
2 oz Irish Whiskey
1 oz Lemon Juice
1 oz Simple Syrup
6 mint leaves
Dash of edible yellow glitter
Garnish: mint leaves

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker, pour simple syrup and mint leaves. Muddle and smell that minty smell. Add ice, then pour whiskey, lemon juice, and dash of yellow glitter. If you don't have the glitter, then you can skip it. The cocktail will still taste the same (just reduces the sparkle). Close and shake the cocktail until it is cold to the touch (about ten to fifteen seconds). Strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with a few mint leaves.
Sip and enjoy! This is an easy way to drink whiskey and have fun with it.
