Gin cocktails are some of the most glamorous cocktails you can make. From Gin martinis to gin gimlets, gin is a staple of famous cocktails. I personally tend to drink gin in more the summer months but I do make a fabulous Christmas cocktail with it. I think gin has the ability to play with different flavors and easy to mix with. I have included some of my favorite ways to play with gin. It'll give you some ideas for your next party. Starting off the trip with the original MVP...
Gin Gimlet

1/2 oz Lime juice
1/2 oz Simple Syrup

This is basically the gin version of a Lemon Drop. You can build it up with adding flavors (I have done blackberry and cherry). I sometimes like a straight up three ingredient version. I highly suggest choosing the gin for the amount of juniper berry that comes across. Some people like a heavy juniper gin and some do not. To each is their own but you will definitely taste the difference.
