Jack Fire is one of those cinnamon whiskeys which are perfect for chilly nights. I like to sip it straight by the fire. I also love it in cocktails. Today I'm sharing my fireside old fashioned cocktails that mix the flavors of Jack Fire with other elements to balance and indulge in. You can share it with loved ones by your fire or simply cozying up to someone you love to watch a movie or read a book. It's a perfect sipping drink.

To balance a cinnamon whiskey you need to go with similar or compatible flavors. I like fruits that taste great grilled or baked: think apples, pears, peaches, and pineapples. Old fashioned cocktails are easy to taste a couple flavors and a simple way to drink a good whiskey. So the next time you are craving a little fall weather, go for a cinnamon whiskey cocktail! It's much better than anything pumpkin spice.
