Summer Cocktail Series: A Little Goth Martini

It's getting close to the end of Summer and I'm still celebrating. Plus it's Monday and I can't wait to have a cocktail to relax. I need this. You need this. Let's have a pretty cocktail

Summer Goth Martini

Gin Martini

The power of cherries: This is a fruit that can be both great at giving you color and the right hint of sweetness. It also doesn't overpower. I love cherries. It's a beautiful and complex fruit flavor for cocktails. Plus fun to snack on!

Ingredients

2 oz Gin

6 Cherries (pitted and muddled)

1 oz Lime Juice

1/2 oz Simple Syrup

Garnish: Cherry

There's something about a great simple martini. I love something that you don't have to guess about a snack. My leftover cherries are perfect for snacking. It's a big cherry day!

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker, muddle cherries. Add ice. Pour Gin, Lime juice, and Simple syrup. Close and shake until the shaker is all the way cold to the touch. Double Strain into a coupe glass (double points if it's chilled). Garnish with a cherry.
