Sunday Funday with Amaretto

This Sunday I'm doing something sweet! This Blood Orange version of an Amaretto Sour is a perfect switch up. This pretty red special uses the last of the winter blood orange in a beautiful and bright way. This is a great cocktail if your Sunday funday isn't brunch related. You can also switch the cocktail recipe up to make it for a group. It's easy to drink and lots of fun!

Bloody Sunday

Amaretto Cocktail

Ingredients (For one cocktail)

2 oz Amaretto

1 oz Blood Orange Juice

1 oz Lemon Juice

1/2 oz Simple Syrup

Garnish: Blood Orange Peel

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour blood orange juice and lemon juice. Add splash of simple syrup then pour the amaretto. Close and shake for about ten seconds (you want the whole shaker to feel cold). Strain and pour into an old fashioned glass with ice. Garnish with a Blood Orange Peel.
