Sweet and Sour Just Like Me: Bourbon Girl Drinks

It's been a week so I'm giving myself a treat. This bourbon sour mixes the tart lemon with maraschino syrup to be sweet and pretty. I love this cocktail because it is easy and fun! A perfect Saturday after a long day.

Ingredients

2 1/2 oz Bourbon Whiskey

1 oz Lemon Juice

1 oz Maraschino Syrup

4 dashes of Peychaud's Bitters

Dash/Half Teaspoon of Edible Yellow Glitter

Garnish: Maraschino Cherries

Recipe: In a cocktail shaker with ice, pour bourbon, lemon juice, and maraschino syrup. How easy is maraschino syrup? Well it's that delightful liquid sitting with your maraschino cherries. Perfect super sweet simple syrup. In your cocktail shaker, dash in peychaud bitters. This adds another little bit of sourness. Then dash in the glitter for a little sparkle. Close and shake until cold to the touch. About fifteen seconds. Strain into an old fashioned glass with ice. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
